Parque de Atracciones in Madrid

Parque de Atracciones in Madrid

The Parque de Atracciones is the first amusement park to be established in Madrid, and to this day is one of the city's most popular attractions.

The Parque de Atracciones is a large Amusement Park in Madrid’s Casa de Campo. It is one of the largest in Spain and the first one built in Madrid.

This Theme Park has always had the very latest themed rides and is very popular with over two million people visiting the park every year. Every few years, the park is renovated, improving its rides and general appearance.

Best Rides

These are the most extreme rides in the Parque de Atracciones:

  • Tifón: This circular ride goes up 15 meters and turns the visitors round and round. The seats are similar to a motorcycle, so the visitors are facing outwards and; therefore, don't get so dizzy.
  • Star Flyer: Are you up for riding the park's tallest attraction? Coming in at 80 meters high (262 feet), at the rides peak you'll be treated to incredible views of the Spanish capital city while flying through the air in the ride's unique flying seats.
  • Abismo: A terrifying roller-coaster that stands 160 ft (49 m) tall, where the visitors climb to the highest point vertically and are then plummeted at 62 mph (100 km/h). At the end, the visitors are taken to the top of the ride and then come down backwards.
  • Tarántula: This 700-m long roller-coaster has seats with a moveable axis that permits 360° spins. It runs at 45 mph (70 km/h)
  • Tornado: Tornado is an upside-down roller-coaster with several loop-the-loops It is similar to the Batman ride at Parque Warner.

Apart from these, there are numerous fun, exciting and intense rides. The Park also has some rides to enjoy with the family for children and parents.

The prices of the Parque Atracciones and the Parque Warner are very similar, so, if you can only go to one, we recommend Parque Warner, as the shows and roller-coasters of this theme park are very exciting and original.
